6/21/18
Recipe for happy living: Time for love and time for giving.

60 degrees, some clouds with a variable breeze.  A north breeze today with sun, a high of 75 and a low of 45. Sunny tomorrow with a SSW breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 50.  Mostly cloudy Saturday with a south breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 54.  Showers Sunday with a light NW breeze, a high of 73.  Rain Sunday night with a NE breeze and a low of 55.  Cloudy Monday with a stiff north breeze, a high of 67 and a low of 47.  Sunny Tuesday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 54.  Pleasant the next eight days with highs in the eighties and lows in the sixties.
Darel had a comfortable but quiet day yesterday.  He walked out to the greenhouse but there aren't many customers to visit with now.  He did enjoy a visit with the chaplain.
More planting got done yesterday.  I worked in the perennial sales area.  So many weeds already.  So weeding and trying to get like kinds together.  And water lovers in the same spot, those who don't need much water in a different spot.  Back to doing lots of watering, the warm sun and strong breeze dry plants out quickly.
That same breeze is drying out the hay.  Sally Jo put in her first day of raking.  Doug doesn't have as good a hay crew lined up as some years.  Today will tell how the crew will do as the wagons start rolling.
Summer officially starts this morning.  I'm always a bit sad, Labor Day comes so fast.  I love the long days, change in day length will remind us the season si changing.
     Have a good day, Sally
