6/20/18
You will never have this day with your children again.  Or anyone else. Nor any other part of the day.  Relish each moment.

Sunshine, 54 degrees with a gentle SW breeze.  Sunny today with a strong WSW breeze, a high of 81 and a low tonight of 53.  Sunny tomorrow with a north breeze, a high of 72 and a low of 45.  Sunny Friday with a SW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 51.
Partly cloudy Saturday morning, occasional showers Saturday afternoon, rain Saturday night.  Saturday's high will be 73 with a brisk south breeze, the low 55.  Rain showers Sunday morning, a more steady rain in the afternoon.  showers Sunday night into Monday morning.  Sunday's high will be 72 with a NNW breeze.  the low 53. A brisk north breeze Monday with a high of 68 and a low of 51.Sunny Tuesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 56.  Next Wednesday starts a very pleasant week with highs in the mid eighties and lows in the sixties.
Darel had a quiet comfortable day yesterday.  His oxygen wasn't as good as Monday but still better than it had been.  He got quite a lecture from the nurse about what he shouldn't be eating.  Last night he used the rest of his gift card at Countryside for seafood.
Lots of planting got done yesterday.  Still lots to do but we are feeling positive.  I got the pots of phlox all weeded and fertilized. I have lots of the beautiful and fragrant white David phlox because the nursery made a mistake and double filled my order.  I also have more of the purple butterfly bush plants than usual.  Which is good because one of the best perennial combinations is the David phlox and the David butterfly bush.  Best for our pleasure and favorites of all pollinators.
Already I am seeing fledglings.  The rain came just right to make finding worms easy for the baby robins.  The little rose breasted grosbeaks are at the feeders constantly.  Today i'll wash the hummingbird feeders and make sure they are ready for the little ones.
And i'll get back to planting.  Have a good day, Sally
