The most beautiful things in life aren't just things.  They are people and places, memories and moments, smiles and laughter.

  Calm, clouds and 10 degrees.  Mostly cloudy today, stiff south breezes with a high of 40 and a low of 33 tonight.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a west breeze, a high of43 and a low of 17.  Partly cloudy Monday with a brisk NNE breeze, a high of 26 and a low of 11. Mostly cloudy Tuesday with a strong north breeze, a high of 18 and a low of 7.  Sunny Wednesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 21 and a low of 11.  Dusting of snow Thursday morning with a SW breeze, a high of 34 and a low of 20.  1-3 inches of snow Friday with a SW breeze, a high of 27 and a low of 7.  Sunny next Saturday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 15 and a low of -2.  Partly cloudy next Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 23 and a low of 12.  Accumulating snow for the week of February 5th.  The long range forecast says there will be no February thaw.

      Yesterday was a very good day.  Darel enjoyed visiting on the phone during the day.  In the evening Mike and Heather took us to Countryside for the fish fry.  My day went well too, i got started on spring cleaning.  Just did the kitchen corner around and in the big refrigerator but that is the hardest part of the kitchen.  Today is warm so I'm going to work in the greenhouse.  Long range forecasts are often inaccurate but it doesn't look like there will be many warm days in February. I hope that means we won't be having February in March and April like the last couple of years.  No matter what the temperature the sun is stronger in February and the days are longer.
