Become better today, not better than anyone else but a better person than you were yesterday.

 Clear, a west breeze and 5 degrees.  Sunny today with a NW breeze, a high of 22 and a low of 8 tonight.  The weekend storm has gone out to sea.  Cloudy tomorrow with stiff SSW breezes, a high of 39 and a low of 34.  partly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 22.  Mostly cloudy Monday with a NNE breeze, a high of 28 and a low of 14.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a stiff north breeze, a high of 20 and a low of 4.  Sunny Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 21 and a low of 10.  A week of snow showers is forecast to start Thursday.  Daily snow showers look to add up to quite a bit of snow.  Thursday's high is forecast to be 34 with a SSW breeze and a low of 27. A WNW breeze next Friday with a high of 30 and a low of 8.  A brisk NW breeze Saturday with a high of 14 and a low of 1.  A west breeze next Sunday with a high of 20 and a low of 10.Highs for the week of the 5th are forecast to be in the twenties with lows in the low teens.

      Darel had a good day yesterday.  normal pulse ,swelling down in his feet and face,  phone visiting and a fried chicken run.

      I think we've had colder days but yesterday was one of  the most unpleasant winter days we've had.  And the wind was hitting the house just right so that just as I'd drift off to sleep another gust would hit.  It died down to 10-15mph about mid night.  The days are getting longer, at 6:30 a few birds are coming to the feeders.

      I got the blank calendars done for the planting schedule.  It took me an hour to figure out how to make them and five minutes to print them.  I do two, a plan and an actual.  I'm referring to last year's actual to do this year's plan.  I got a good start on filling the plan in.  I need to make a plan for spring cleaning or I'm not going to have it done by 2/23.
