Another good day for Darel.  He is rested up from the weekend so now he is thinking of things we need to do.  We do need to pick up a prescription some day.
I got an e-mail from Johnny's yesterday listing seeds they had run out of or were low on.  So everything was put on hold and i made out my first johnny's order that I usually send in the first week in February.  I have very few seeds left from last year but i do have the improved jalapeno pepper seed left that they are out of.  Seed prices go up every year but i still shop johnny's.  It doesn't pay to skimp on quality.
I called Avery when I got done.  they were still having computer problems but a technician helped me get my return address labels printed.  He was very patient.  i wanted to use up some odds and ends of different sizes i had.  I'd defiantly say he was a "ten".
We have two flocks of finches.  Our local flock of 20 or so and a large flock that apparently roams.  When they come in all seeds get cleaned up.  i bought in the feeders and thawed the ice so the birds could feed from them.  I've been throwing the seeds on the snow.  I can walk on top of what snow banks are left.  There isn't much snow banking left .  At least it was there for the bitter cold.
Back to the winter letter today.  I need to be planting seeds.  Have a good day, Sally
