Start your day the right way with a prayer of thanks and God's word. Daily devotions, not yearly resolutions.

Darel had a good day yesterday. Good enough so we went to the bean supper at church. Last night Gilbert came down and they watched the Patriots game. No surprise, he is still asleep. As of yesterday we are planning to go to church.
A total of 3.42 inches of rain and a lot of melted snow. Snow banks and drifts melted way down. Water was running everywhere.
Green grass is showing. The driveway was bare, the freezing rain that ended the storm left a coating of ice.The midweek storm keeps changing its track so it is a "well see when it gets here." accumulation.
I put away the candles in the windows, Christmas 2017 is history. The blue cross on the Atkinson Road side of the house reminds us it is just the celebration that is history. It stays lit year round.
Now my focus is getting ready for Open Greenhouse Day, May 5th. And getting spring cleaning done before I start the greenhouse fires in February. We've gained 21 minutes of daylight.
Have a good day, Sally
