Darel had a good day yesterday, better than Tuesday and Tuesday was better than Monday.  The "cookie lady" came  to the delight of everyone.  Darel and I enjoyed visiting with Lisa and Joe, it made for a pleasant break in our day.  Late in the day the chaplain came.  Darel looks forward to her weekly visits.
Andrew did the last of the shoveling needed before today's rain.  He said just the warm temperatures yesterday made the snow very heavy.  He was glad he got it all away from the hoop house. I was able to walk on top of the snow drift to fill the feeders and shovel off the roof of the Nativity stable.   Will  the mid week storm make it necessary to shovel it all again?  We certainly won't go into spring dry!
I spent most of the rest of the day paying bills and going through orders and making plans for February's start up.  Andrew says he is going to keep the soil and water barrels filled for us.  Only about six weeks until I start the fires.
       Have a good day, Sally
