Darel had a good day yesterday. Napped a lot but was comfortable and enjoyed a visit with Lexi and Justin why I got a perm. The afternoon passed quickly with a visit from Raymond Freeman. Why Raymond was here I bucketed snow. Probably would have taken one of the boys ten minutes but I'm learning.
Rachael was here yesterday moaning because her Dad is making her take the big clunky Yukon to school instead of her little car. She didn't get any sympathy from Grandpa and I. It was so nice to hear her tell about the new basketball coach. He works them harder than the old coach but they've learned so much. And he has never made them do things because he was mad, he just doesn't seem to get mad at them. They've only lost one game, and that was to last year's state champions.
Little Andrew has been here after work shoveling, getting ready for Friday's rain. I didn't ask him to shovel around the horse barn door, I do that. But he did, walking in there is like walking in in July now. I couldn't have done that good if I tried! Anyone has snow on their roof best be getting it off. the manger scene is buried in snow but I'm going to clean off the stable roof today.
My first order of seeds came yesterday. Time to be planting some perennials that will bloom this year if i get them planted and pansies.
Have a good day, Sally
