A very busy day yesterday. We didn't get everything done on "the list" but we made a large dent in it. It was cool enough so Darel was able to bring in several bucket loads of wood. Gilbert tilled where my fall broccoli and cauliflower are going. I'll let it sprout a crop of weeds, he'll till it again the middle of next week and I'll plant it.
The Bailey rep showed up early but everyone got here soon after she did. A very good visit, we learned a lot and discussed so many wonderful plants. How do I choose which ones to order?
I got two pumpkin pies made and two shells for lemon pies. Rosemarie will be here this morning so i can take them to church. Tiffany felt bad that all the pies were going to church so went home, made a pie and bought it down.
The juvenile grackles seem to have moved on so i let Sally Jo fill the tube feeders yesterday. With in five minutes the feeders were covered with purple and gold finches. We seldom see hummingbirds at the feeders but I'm watching several go in and out of the salvia this morning.
I want to get the lemon pie filling made so I can get started on today's list. It would be great if we got as much done today as yesterday. There is very little watering to do.
Have a good day, Sally
