There can be no rainbow without a cloud and a storm.
The weather channel where I usually get a 15 day forecast isn't working so here is a 7 day forecast. Mostly sunny, calm and 62 degrees now. A high of 82 with a light north breeze and scattered showers this afternoon. Isolated thundershowers tonight with a low of 59. Rain likely tomorrow afternoon with a high of 71, a light east breeze and a low of 56. Possible showers Friday with a NW breeze, a high of 69 and a low of 58. Rain likely Saturday with an east breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 68. Sunday will be about the same. Total precipitation with all these days of showers probably will be under an inch. Next week starts out pleasant and warmer.
Enough rain to stop haying but not enough to stop watering. once we get everything soaked we'll have a few days break. Next week is going to warm up enough to soak up the moisture. By Friday scattered thundershowers will put an end to haying for four or five days.
About all I did yesterday was water. Even so some plants were wilting when I got to them. I'll be back watering today. The dishwasher technician came and put a new dispenser on my new dishwasher. We'll see how it works. I'm not very encouraged, apparently they are having problems with the new dishwashers, all brands, because of the government mandate that they use less water. Dishwashers that are on city water do OK but well water which may vary from hard to soft have problems. Do any of you have a new dishwasher, your own well and a water softener?
My computer has wasted enough of my day insisting the only weather report I want is Clinton corners, N.Y. Rosemarie will be at the hospital with Dale. Tiffany has to mow lawns (where the tractor can't mow) so I will be short handed again today. We have perennials that we started that need to be potted up for sale. I'll have Rachael work on them.
Have a good day, Sally
