Happiness is a choice. often bought on by thankfulness.

 Calm, mostly clear and 62 degrees.  A light NNW breeze today with a high of 84 and a low of 58.  Mostly cloudy tomorrow, a light ENE breeze with a high of 83 and a low of 60.  Possible showers Monday with a light ENE breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 60.  Scattered thunderstorms Tuesday with a NE breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 58.  Partly cloudy  Wednesday with a light ENE breeze, a high of  85 and a low of 60.  Possible afternoon showers Thursday with a SW breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 63,  Very isolated thunderstorms Friday with a SW breeze, a high of 88 and a low of 67.  Possible afternoon showers next Saturday and Sunday.  A west breeze Saturday with a high of 83 and a low of 63.  A NNW breeze Sunday with a high of 82 and a low of 60.  Pleasant the week of August 9th with highs around eighty.

       Another day of watering and picking vegetables.  Debbie and the girls got all the mums spaced so they have room to grow.  I gave them all some fertilizer water.  All the fall cauliflower is planted and soaked.  Just a little more mulching to do today.  The fall broccoli already needs some weeds pulled that found some holes in the mulch.  Last night I picked a fifteen pound order of beet greens.  i though I was nearly out of them but I've been running the soaker hose on the rows and have quite a few left.

        I haven't seen a grackle in days.  i put out sunflower seed and one shows up.  Just one and it was only here a few minutes.  Hopefully it doesn't bring any friends back today!

        I have the soaker hose set up on a row of tomatoes.  I need to go turn it on so the row is watered before Debbie is ready to start watering the potted plants.  Have a good day, Sally
