 63 degrees.calm with some clouds.  Clouds today with a SSW breeze, a high of 88.  A low of 65 tonight with scattered thunderstorms.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a WNW breeze, a high of 86 and a low of 64.  Sunny Wednesday with a light WNW breeze, a high of 90 and a low of 64.  Likely afternoon thunderstorms Thursday with a west breeze, a high of 87 and a low of 62.   Partly cloudy Friday and Saturday, a light NNW breeze Friday, a light NE breeze Saturday, highs of 84 and lows about 60.  Showers Sunday and Monday with light east breezes, highs in the high seventies and lows about 59.  There still may be a few showers around next Tuesday morning, clearing with a NW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 60.  Sunny next Wednesday and Thursday with WSW breezes, highs of 87 and lows of 62.  Scattered thundershowers Friday, the 5th, with west breezes, a high of 86 and a low of 61.  Showers Saturday, Aug 6th, with NNW breezes, a high of 81 and a low of 59.  Sunny Sunday, the 7th, and Monday with highs about 80 and lows of 59.

     After church we got a call from Doug saying the front quarter of steer in the cooler was for us.  So our plans for the afternoon changed to cutting up meat.  I did get the blueberries picked.  The blue berries and raspberries need picked every other day.

      He also said he is going to have to put hay in the downstairs part of the barn.  We both have put "stuff" there because it was easy.  Now it needs to be moved!

      We need to get the fall cauliflower planted today.  And mulched so that if we get a thunderstorm tonight the mulch will get wet, keeping the water we put on the plants when we plant them from evaporating.  Today won't have enough hours in it!  Besides clearing out the cow barn we didn't get all the meat cut up.  There will be vegetables to pick and watering.  At daylight I'm going to move the soaker hose to the peppers.

    One of the hummingbird feeders had ants in it.  When I cleaned it and put it back up I smeared vaseline on the shepherd's hook.  The vaseline works well, the ants won't crawl through it to the feeder.
