Friendship is love with understanding.

60 degrees, still with light rain and fog.  Cloudy this morning, clearing this afternoon with a light WSW wind, a high of 76 and a low of 52 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a west wind, a high of 77 and a low of 54.  Sunny Monday with a stiff west breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 59.  Sunny Tuesday with a WSW breeze, a high of 85 and a low of 57.  Sunny Wednesday with a SW breeze, a high of 87 and a low of 57.  Afternoon thundershowers Thursday with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 88 and a low of 63.  Scattered thundershowers Friday with a WSW breeze, a high of 82 and a low of 56.  Partly Cloudy next Saturday and Sunday with highs about 80, lows of 56, s SE breeze Saturday and a SSW breeze, Sunday.  Partly cloudy Monday, the 11th, with a west breeze, a high of 85 and a low of 58.  Scattered thundershowers the rest of the week with SW breezes, highs in the mid eighties and lows about 60.

      If we had thunderstorms I slept through them.  We did get 6/10ths of an inch of rain.  More would have been nice but i am thankful for that much.

We sold out of our first row of beet greens, we'll start on the second row Tuesday.  We sold quite a few flowers as out of state people moved to camp.  I think I'll try to plant hanging baskets in may for this week end.  Rachael and I took two tractor buckets loads of weeds out of the walk ways.  An on going battle.

      Darel bought in a few buckets of wood, it was to hot and muggy to do more.  He did mow some lawns.  Last night I mulched the church box with some of the coast of Maine mulch.  It is expensive compared to the regular cedar mulch but it sure is nice stuff, aged bark and lobster meal. Looks so nice and feeds the plants.

      I'm going to  work in the hoop house Pruning tomatoes why it is cloudy.  than i'll weed carrots for awhile.  This afternoon i'll plant more flowers.

Planting flowers takes awhile because i have to weed first and I mulch as I plant.
