Rosa parks refused to give up her seat on the bus, but she didn't trash the bus. Big difference!
We enjoyed a pleasant day yesterday, sunny and cool for July. The day started with harvesting as nearly every day will the rest of the summer. We spent the rest of the day weeding. We might even get caught up! Gilbert spent his day in LaGrange repairing storm damage in their trailer park.
Doug mowed hay. The hay crop is light in the centers of the fields where there was no snow cover. I'm sure the record breaking cold the end of April after a warm March didn't help.
To discourage blackbirds I stopped putting out sunflower seeds and suet. Hummingbirds never seem to come to the feeders late June and early July but they are back at the feeders now. I see them in the flowers all the time but I think they like the liquid when it is hot.
I'm looking forward to another good day. I hope yours is too. Sally
