Doug had three hay wagons that didn't get unloaded so he tarped them.  But the showers all went around us, not a drop of rain.  Just a fog that has already lifted.  Yesterday was very warm but very pleasant with the south wind.  Very drying, swirls of dust were in the air over the driveway all day.  Watering will continue.
The doctor is very pleased with my shoulder.  He is also very pleased I've hired Debbie to do a lot of the watering.  He'll see me in a year.  I was in Sam's when a man from Milo came up to me and pointed out I was in an air conditioned store while Rachael was working in the garden under the hot sun.  I told him I didn't need money for driver's ed.  Rachael got all the rest of the squash and pumpkins planted with room to spare.  So last night I planted another row of tomatoes.  Maybe we'll get lucky this year wit no blight.  There is room to put in another row of pepper plants.  Not that we need them but I have the plants left.  The end of the week we'll plant the cilantro, basil, dill and parsley.  The parsley is ready but the other herbs are our 2ed or 3rd planting and still quite small.  Then no more planting in the garden until we plant fall broccoli, cauliflower and lettuce.
Cucumber beetles moved in with the warm weather yesterday.  I had to dust all the pumpkins and squash last night.  I dusted the gourds but they never seem to bothered very much by the beetles.  When Gilbert sprayed his plants Sunday night he sprayed y cucumbers but nothing else needed it.
The only vegetable seedlings i have left are some tomatoes and whatever peppers we don't plant.  We are just giving them to anyone who needs them.
      Have a good day, Sally
