A very busy day yesterday.  Lots less to water which is good because i want to water the greenhouse early this morning.  I don't like to have hoses strung all around the aisles.  As it is one aisle is narrowed by our work table.  Usually we fold it up on busy days but a friend is going to be heeling  strawberry plants in trays for us.  By heeling them in (care instructions say to put them in the refrigerator until planting)  customers will have green healthy plants to choose from.
A pair of evening grosbeaks was at the feeders yesterday morning.  And only a few grackles.  I am looking forward to them being gone!  So was a single female cardinal.  She acted like a stranger.  I'm hoping that means the lonely male has called in a single female!
Darel put more wood around the back of the greenhouse for Gilbert to put in.  Looks like we'll be needing a fire for awhile.  I dislike Sunday night's forecast!  We are making up for the mild winter.
      Enjoy your day, Sally
