The last customer left about six last night. There are a lot less plants to water! The last plum royal tomato left. We still have some blight resistant Mt. Merit and Juliet left.
We have a good selection of other varieties left, although we are on our second planting of red cherry tomatoes. Black flies were busy too although several customers said they weren't as bad here as at their house.
On Friday I called Dunnetts and told them i was very unhappy with my new dishwasher. Their service man was here yesterday morning! He adjusted the rinse aid dispenser so i'm using a lot less rinse aid and suggested I only use a couple teaspoons of soap. I'm to call Tuesday if those things don't make enough difference.
Last night I froze Fiddleheads and asparagus with my new food saver Patti gave me. The packages will take up a lot less room in the freezer. The quality is supposed to be much better than the old way.
We don't open until I get home from church today. Rosemarie will be here this morning. She'll water the greenhouse and wait on customers that come even when we are closed. There were people here at 7:30 last night. Sally Jo was here and waited on them. I never got those last few cucumbers planted to finish the row. I'm going to try to get them planted before i go to Sunday School. With the damp cool weather in the forecast I want to get them covered with remay.
I got the lights strung around the get-together room window, the window washed and the screens washed and up. Now I need to get the flowers planted why I have a choice. I've pulled some flowers and i'm going to pull some red petunias before I leave this morning.
Have a good day, Sally
