Yesterday was a nice day.  I didn't get much done but watering and helping customers.  I did set the dosatron up so it is easier to use.  It doesn't look like nature is going to be much help with the watering.  When I water so much I like to water with fertilizer in the water because I'm washing it out of the soil.  I can fertilize often and still have healthy plants because I'm using the natural fertilizer.
The tomatoes are planted in the hoop house.  Gilbert is laying the soaker hose and black plastic for me to plant zucchini and summer squash today.  Tiffany has weeded the tires and put in new compost for the winter squash.  I'll try to get some of the winter squash hills put in the tires today.  The section we are putting the winter squash is  an area we are reclaiming from burdock and nettles .  We cleaned it out last year, and laid down heavy black plastic.   Than placed tires on it, cutting the plastic where we put tires.  This fall we'll take up the tires and plastic. Hopefully we'll we;ll get that done early enough to plant rye for the winter.
If I'm going to get some zucchini planted before I open I need to get started.  Rosemarie has to transplant more Ace peppers first thing, we are getting low.  We  had more Ace seedlings than last year so we didn't transplant all we had started.
        Enjoy your day, Sally
