5/24/16

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.

52 degrees, calm, sunny but clouding up some later with an ESE breeze.  A high today of 75, dropping to 54 tonight.  A chance for PM thunderstorms tomorrow with a SSW breeze, a high of 78 and a low of 53.  Sunny Thursday with a NNW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 52.  Light rain Friday morning with a SSE breeze, a high of 63 and a low of 51.  Afternoon Thunderstorms Saturday with a WSW breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 55.   Sunny Sunday with a NNE breeze, a high of 75 and a low of 47.  Partly cloudy Monday with a south breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 49.  Morning clouds/ afternoon sun on Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 53.  Possible afternoon showers Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 54.   Partly cloudy next Thursday and Friday with NE breezes, highs about 75 and lows about 50.  Scattered Thunderstorms Saturday, the 4th, and showers Sunday, the 5th, with highs in the mid seventies and lows in the low fifties.  Pleasant June 6th and 7th.
Rosemarie's day off so even though Tiffany will be here I'll be busy.  We still have to water the greenhouses, coldframes and the display area every day.  One coldframe is empty.  Plants are leaving, Gilbert and I set aside our plum royal  tomatoes last night.  Even though we had five hundred plum royal plants we are down under a hundred with Gilbert and I each taking thirty-six.  People have learned that they are not only blight resistant but a very nice tomato.  The last of the purple waves that I started late left yesterday.  I'm going to plant another one today to hang off the generator shed.  We have some pretty plum waves left.  As we have time we'll move the late plantings of marigolds and impatiens out to the benches.  The first planting are nearly gone.
A dense fog has rolled in, so dense I won't be in a hurry to water the display benches.  Everything is suddenly dripping wet.
I didn't fill the hummingbird feeders last night.  And I just put the bucket of eggs in the refrigerator with boxing them.  I  need to get yesterday's chores done so I can start on todays.  Have a good day, Sally
