Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.

 20 degrees, calm and still.  A SW breeze today (Yes, SW, not NW), with a high of 55 and a low of 30.  Sunny tomorrow, Open Greenhouse Day, with a light NNE breeze, a high of 60 and a low of 34.  Cloudy Sunday with a SSE, a high of 57 and a low of 38.  RAIN Monday with an east breeze, a high of 48 and a low of 37.  Cloudy Tuesday with a NW breeze, a high of 57 and a low of 37/  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a stiff south breeze, a high of 62 and a low of 42.  Showers Thursday lasting into Friday AM.  A SSE breeze Thursday with a high of 58 and a low of 42.  A WSW breeze next Friday with a high of 63 and a low of 41.  Sunny next Saturday with a west breeze, a high of 66 and a low of 40.  Mostly cloudy next Sunday, Mother's Day, with a west breeze, a high of 65 and a low of 42.  Lots of clouds with some showers the week of the 9th with highs in the upper sixties and lows in the upper forties.

      The sun has already raised the temperature to 22.  Like yesterday there was no ice on the kitchen pond at daybreak but there is a skim now.  All the flowers were fine when I took off the blankets yesterday.  I'm so glad this is the last morning I'll be anxious as i check them.

       Gilbert got all the potatoes planted yesterday  Darel cut all of them up, sitting in his chair.  My floors tell the tale of Gilbert walking back and forth to the front room with buckets of potatoes.  The trail of dirt is worth it, they wouldn't have all gotten planted if Gilbert and I had to do the cutting.  Next is setting out the onion plants.

       Excited to be seeing everyone tomorrow.  it has seemed like a long winter.  But with the cold staying until the last day we have a busy day planned.  Tomorrow morning we will be moving plants out of the aisles so people can walk through with ease.  WABI TV is going to be here at eleven this morning so they can give people an idea of what they will se tomorrow on tonight's news.  I suggested they stop at Ellis Greenhouse too.
