Yesterday was a summer day.  The lids got off the bus complaining about how hot the school was.  I mowed the backyard.  Due to no rain a lot of it was very little grass and some weeds. Lots of grass over the leach field.  I'll have to rake it up today.  Yesterday's warm temperatures mean I need to water flowers first.
Bekah sold a couple of pumpkins yesterday.  And some mums.  People are thinking of decorating for fall.  The pumpkins we have for sale came from the County.  They had enough rain for their gardens and potatoes.  There aren't many pumpkins down here unless the farmer could irrigate the pumpkin patch..
Bekah also started cleaning the north end of the cow barn for Christmas trees.  It has been a catchall, If someone doesn't know where to put something, "Put it in the barn until we find a place for it"  "It" is still in the barn!  Christmas trees don't come until Thanksgiving.  By starting now Bekah figures the barn will be much emptier.  What's left will be organized.  Bekah put her Christmas tree order in last week.  People who want extra tall trees need to be ordering them.
May your day be blessed, Sally
