9/4/25

You seriously have no idea what people are dealing with in their personal life. So just be nice, it's that simple.

Clouds and fog, calm, 58 degrees.  Sunshine this afternoon, high 78 with a stiff south breeze,  Partly cloudy this evening, clouds and occasional showers overnight. A SSE breeze, low 58.  Showers tomorrow, a strong south breeze, a high of 73, low 63.  PM thunderstorms Saturday, a light south wind, high 79, low 55.  Perhaps some morning showers Sunday, a WNW breeze, high 68, low 49.  Partly cloudy Monday, a west breeze, high 70, low 45.  Sunshine Tuesday, a WNW breeze, high 70, low 40. Mostly sunny Wednesday, a SSW breeze, high 72, low 47.   Partly cloudy next Thursday, a NW breeze, high 71, low 44.  Partly cloudy next Friday, a NNW breeze, high 67, low 42.  Partly cloudy next weekend, highs about 70, WSW breezes, lows 48.  Partly cloudy the week of the 15th, highs in the mid seventies, WSW breezes, lows 47-50.

Yesterday was another pleasant summer day.  In the cool of the evening the hay trailer was loaded for delivery today.  Doug made second cutting.  Thanks to the lack of rain three fields equaled the hay usually produced by one field.
I fed buckets of grass from the back lawn to some of the heifers.  This morning I'll feed the rest.  Jay and Maegin mowed the other lawns.  Without the moisture from the leach field there wasn't enough grass to bother with.  It does seem the rain we got last week has greened the lawns up some.  The climbing rose has rebloomed and is beautiful.  I water it.
We didn't think we would have many pears but we have quite a few..  The pickling pears are ripe.  I bought ginger root and lemons yesterday to make pear preserves.
May your day be blessed, Sally
