A pleasant day yesterday.  Much of the day was spent visiting with Cindy.  She is retired but has been filling in at several churches so we haven't seen her for a while.
The rain we were supposed to get dried up so Jay spent the day watering everything again.  Will we get the rain forecast for tomorrow?  Bekah picked tomatoes and moved perennials and shrubs, they are still in the display area but in a sheltered spot.  If some don't sell they are all set for winter.   We will plant for another three weeks but we will water and mulch what we plant.  Mulching keeps the soil from freezing and thawing.  She also filled the clothesline with clothes that didn't dry.  They'll dry today but today's laundry will go in the dryer.
Jay and Bekah went up to Gilbert's and helped his search his patch for winter squash.  His crop was better than ours but not much.  At least he got enough for his family, just not many to share or sell on the stand.
Bekah picked apples and canned a canner of applesauce.  We'll try to either can applesauce or put some in the freezer every day.  We freeze apples in two package sizes, one size for muffins, one size for pies.
May your day be blessed, Sally
