It is very pleasant this morning, good weather for picking apples.  We can prepare them for the freezer this afternoon why it is raining.  I'm thinking positively that the forecast will be accurate!  I'll also be watching the classes  put out by the Traditional Skills Summit.  I've been watching them all week as much as I could.  There was so much information in the class on dehydrating I plan to watch a replay.   The class on water bath canning was worth my time and I've been water bath canning for sixty plus years!  I'm thankful classes start at Pacific standard time so they start at noon here.  I was able to go to Bible study yesterday morning.  Last night's class was on freeze drying.  Not only is a freeze dryer very expensive but they use a lot of electricity.  Our electric bill is already high and I believe in the future there may be problems with electricity being reliable.
Bekah is taking pictures of canning tomatoes to put on Facebook.  It took the tomatoes a long time to ripen but we have lots now.  Thanks to Gilbert there are lots of big beautiful jack o lantern pumpkins on the stand.
I returned a jacket to Amazon yesterday.  It was labeled a jacket, it was just a thin flannel shirt.  Maegin was in ocean state yesterday and found me exactly the fall jacket I wanted for half the price.  After I send this I'm going to spend the money I saved on silicone liners for the dehydrator trays.  They showed us how to use them in the class.
May your day be blessed, Sally

Today, just for a few minutes, let’s all take time to find a quiet place, be silent, and listen for God’s voice to speak and guide our hearts.  And let us remember that no matter what may come, God is with us and in control.  Pastor Bruce Young
