8/27/25  Learn to accept people for who they are, not who you wish they’d be.  Life is so much easier when you stop expecting apple juice from oranges. 

Sunshine, calm, 51 degrees.  sun and clouds this morning, clouds this afternoon,   A stray shower is possible late.  Partly cloudy tonight, low 48.  Partly cloudy tomorrow, a stiff SW breeze, high 76, low 52.  65 % chance of PM thunderstorms Friday and rain Saturday.  A stiff SSE breeze, Friday, a west breeze Saturday.  Highs about 70, lows 50 and 54. Partly cloudy Sunday, a NW breeze, high 73, low 51.  Partly cloudy Monday, a light NNE breeze, high 78, low 52.  A SW breeze Tuesday, high 80, low 51.  A south breeze next Wednesday and Thursday, highs 79, lows about  55.   Showers next Friday and Saturday, SW breezes, highs 76, lows about 53. Party cloudy Sunday the 7th Monday the 8t and Tuesday the 9th, SW breezes, highs about 75, lows about 48.  Showers on the 10th.

   Lots of miles for me yesterday.  A morning PT appointment in Dover.  When I got home Lowes had called, the new range was in.  So off to Bangor.  34-40 mph meant a slow trip home but the range never moved.  I have a doctor's appointment this morning so it was unloaded into the garage.  They'll take the old one out and put the new one in this afternoon.   I'll be baking tomorrow, checking out the oven.

   Neither the stove or the refrigerator worked in the trailer Maegin got.  Yesterday Jay and Darel got them out.  She has the skirting off, she'll need new skirting.  The trailer will be moved here by the end of the week.  I can see her lot from my kitchen window.

   The cucumbers are slowing down.  Time to water them with the Dosetron so some Nature's Source liquid fertilizer can be injected in the water,  Watermelons are looking good, tomatoes are ripening.  Pumpkins are scarce due to the drought.  Gilbert has watered so he has some very nice ones.
