t's mostly clear, calm, 62 degrees.  Sun and clouds today, high 75, a strong west breeze.  Clear tonight, low 50.  Partly cloudy tomorrow, a west breeze, high 73, low 47.  Mostly sun Thursday, a brisk SW breeze, high 76, low 51.  Chance of showers Friday and Saturday, brisk SE breezes.  Friday's high 70, low  54.  Saturday's high 66. low 51.  Partly cloudy Sunday, a NW breeze, high 72, low 51.  Partly cloudy Monday, a NNE breeze, high 77, low 51.  Mostly sunny next Tuesday, WNW breeze, high 82, low 51. Some clouds nest Wednesday and Thursday, brisk south breezes, highs 81, lows 54 and 58.  Slight chance of a shower Friday the 5th, a SSW breeze, high 79, low 56.  Partly cloudy the weekend of the 6th and 7th and Monday the 8th, brisk SW breezes, highs in the mid seventies, lows about 51.

   We got rain yesterday!  Still no rain gauge but we have puddles. Enough rain so they don't have to water in the nursery. Today there is a chance of showers next Friday and Saturday.  That would be good.

   Evan the younger pullets are laying.  We got nine pullet eggs Sunday, eighteen yesterday.  We'll be using more eggs and we'll have more for customers.

   There were several finches at the feeders yesterday.  Because of the rain?  Or are there fewer seeds available because of the drought?  There are still lots of hummingbirds. Some of the fledglings are getting bright new feathers.
