Everyone left at 6 for Storyland yesterday and got home at eleven. The kids had a wonderful day, wearing their parents out! The nursery wasn't very busy. Lexi came about noon to see if I needed anything.
I watered and then I was mostly inside where it was cooler. I cleaned. Each family has a take home bag and the kids have piles that need to find a home. Even if it's the Goodwill box or the dumpster. We have a tall stack of white hand towels we use in the kitchen and in the bottoms of the vegetable coolers to absorb moisture. Usually I add dawn and hydrogen peroxide to the water when I wash them. Everyso often I soak them in bleach and dawn, yesterday was the day for that.
Honey bees started mobbing the hummingbird feeders Sunday, they were at all of them yesterday. I've never had that before. There is water in the pond. Jay has plant saucers with rocks and water in them on top of their hives. They may have dried up, I'm sure he didn't check them before they left yesterday. First on the list this morning. I had to water some fuchsias first thing, when its this hot some hanging plants need to be watered twice a day.
Have a blessed day. Sally
