Yesterday was a bad/good day. I got a pitcher of water to water my house plants. When I went back for more, there was no water. Some checking narrowed the problem to the pressure switch. A switch lasts us about a year, I used to keep one on hand. When I went to Corinth for a switch I got two. Gilbert put the switch on, we had water. Soon we discovered we had water in the house but not the barn. The pipe feeding water to the barns had come apart in the milkhouse. Probably that problem, plus several power flickers triggered the switch going out. The points were corroded so it was nearing the end of its life.. Bekah said that as she was repairing that leak she was thanking God it all happened yesterday. If it had happened today plants would have wilted. A breeze with sunshine and a high of 87 means watering all day, she is already watering. As it was, the meat chicks ran out of water. I had already sent up a thank-you prayer for such good timing.
The neighbor got us the correct regulator for the propane stove. Andrew hooked it up, no propane was getting to the stove. Did spiders lay eggs in the line why it was sitting open and unused? Whatever, it's not letting propane through so today I need to get 7 feet of new copper line. I'll do that when it gets hot.
For some reason there was a run on fruit trees yesterday. Jay has twenty left of the 125 that came on the spring order. They are getting low on annual flowers too.
May your day be blessed, Sally
