Tiffany went to the doctor's early this week very sick with the flu.  Tests showed it was lyme.  She was given an iv antibiotic and sent home with oral antibiotics.  The doctor assured her that he chose antibiotics safe for her baby due early September.  The doctor believes that the lyme was caught early, she and the baby will be fine.  She and Evan had planned to come to Maine this weekend but have decided to stay home and rest.  They are going to come up on the 29th.  They send thanks to those who are praying for Tiffany's healing.
Yesterday was a pleasant day weatherwise.  Not too many black flies.  I didn't get much done on my to-do list.  Sometimes we have to stop working outside and do housework.  I set up soaker hoses in the flowerbeds that are planted and watered the beds.  I also watered hanging plants and containers.  Bekah did lots of watering too.  We've had lots of damp weather but not much rain.  The nursery was very busy yesterday so there are fewer plants to water.
The book came yesterday but not the dehydrator.  Tracking says it is coming today.  Maegin bought a regulator for the propane stove.  Maybe today we'll get the stove  hooked up.  The summer kitchen is slowly coming together.
May your day be blessed, Sally
