A chilly, dreary week,  A pattern change starts slowly this weekend and picks up speed at the end of the month. Today's breeze will keep the black flies confused as it dries things out.  It looks like snow drifts as I look at Gilbert's garden.  He has everything wrapped in ag fabric.  Even though the peach blossoms are opening up Jay is going to fill the bees sugar water feeder.  The peach tree isn't far from the beehive, we are hoping they fly enough to do a good job pollinating it.  It is important that the bees increase in strength and numbers so that it is a strong hive when the cucumbers start to blossom.  We hope the weather is good when the strawberries and blueberries bloom.  There are some apple blossoms now. The forecast for pollinating them isn't as good as we would like to see. We aren't seeing as many brown tailed moths as we have the last few years.
They built a new display bench yesterday, they'll build another today.  The shabby, falling apart old benches didn't match the beautiful flowers that go on them.  Maegin picked some rhubarb.  Strawberry-rhubarb muffins for sale today.  Gluten free.
May your day be blessed, Sally
