Spring concerts at school and a steady stream of customers meant there wasn't much of a dent made in the to do list. Doug came over with his tractor and moved some of the pallets of soil. Then he came back with some gravel to fill in the potholes. They used the wheelbarrow to haul sand to level out paths. We've had so much rain that the main roads are the only ones with holes. Maegin is mowing as I type, getting it checked off the list before customers come.
Lots of hanging baskets have left. A good thing. They are getting so large that the ones left are glad for more room. Customers are buying tomato and pepper plants, assuring us that they aren't planting them yet. We are glad we got the onions and potatoes planted back when the ground was dry enough to til. Next week's weather looks good. It is still May, plenty of time to get all the early crops planted.
May your day be blessed, Sally
