 Calm, clouds, 56 degrees.  Overcast today with a north breeze, a high of 62.  Overcast tonight with a stiff NW breeze, a low of 44.  Cloudy tomorrow with a NE

breeze, a high of 51, a low of 46. Rain tomorrow night.  Rain Saturday with a light NW wind, a high of 51. a low of 46.  Partly cloudy Mother's Day with a light NW wind, a high of 64, a low of  39.  Mostly cloudy Monday with a stiff SW breeze, a high of 65, a low of 48.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SSE breeze, a high of 75, a low of 51.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a brisk SW breeze, a high of 79, a low of 58. Mostly cloudy Thursday and Friday with ESE breezes.Thursday's high 73, the low 55.  Friday's high of 68, the low 53.  Partly cloudy next weekend with SE breezes, highs about 63, lows about 52. Cloudy with some showers the week of the 30th, highs about 64, lows about 50.

    We were happy to see the sun yesterday.Gilbert helped Jay get the mower on the tractor.  Then he mowed the backyard to make sure it was working right.  Today will be dry enough for some more mowing.  The sun is  breaking  through the clouds this morning.

     Things were busy at the greenhouse.  Lots of hanging plants left.  Some of my hanging plants will go out today, the ones that are hanging in places protected from the wind.  As soon as I have time I will plant the flowers in the bed under the get to gather room window.  It is protected from the north winds.

     I was blessed late yesterday afternoon with a family gathering for my birthday.  And by lots of birthday wishes via Facebook and cards. Today will be yard work and digging dandelions out of the strawberries.  The old hens are enjoying a tub of grass and dandelions everyday.  The young hens are let out in the orchard every day at about three.  Because of bird flu we don't want them roaming very far.  If they were out all day they would roam further.
