The warmer temperatures are nice but we would like some sun.  The plants all seem happy, trees are showing green.  Jay got a new lawn mower yesterday that he wants to use before the lawn becomes a hay field.  Gilbert is going to help him put the mower on the tractor today.  Hopefully the grass will dry enough to mow by tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning.
We have a solar light that goes on the top of the flagpole, lighting up the flag at night.  It had problems, yesterday Jay and Bekah took time to see if they could fix it.  They were successful, the flag is up with a light shining on it at night.
Bekah took the chick brooder out of the stall the chicks  are in yesterday.  There is a corner with a lamp until Monday's warmer temperatures.  They were jumping and flapping their little wings, so excited to have so much room.  And "big chick" waterers and feeders make it easier for Bekah to care for them.
We have lots of hummingbirds.  There are a lot of gold and purple finches at the tube feeders.  There are several different kinds of sparrows.  A few chicadees, doves and bluejays.  There are still some blackbirds so I can't put suet out for the woodpeckers.
May your day be blessed, Sally
