Some of the kids are sick, they gave it to Bekah and Doug.  I had it last week.  Or maybe a different bug as I wasn't as sick as the others.  I'm better now but I'm not able to pick up much slack for Bekah. Just the hens.  Jay has been going to the kennel to help her.  Sick or not animals need food and care. Little Maisy was out of school last week, went back to school this week and had a fever again last night. So she is home again today.  A couple of days last week a call came that the bus would be dropping kids off early because there were so few stops.  Bekah says she feels better this morning.
We don't have any large flocks of birds but we have lots of different birds.  Which is just as well.  When I had that large flock of goldfinches they went through a lot of sunflower seeds even though they are little birds.    Some years I've had a large flock of grosbeaks.  They just take over.  Fortunately a neighbor feeds the birds too.  The other birds could go wherever the grosbeaks weren't.
May your day be blessed, Sally
