There is no shortcut to any place worth going to.

The sun is shining, it is calm and 50 degrees.  Today will be sunny with a strong WSW breeze, tonight's low 61.  Sunny tomorrow with a high of 84 and a low of 61.  Thunderstorms Saturday with a stiff SW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 50.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a stiff north breeze, a high of 68 and a low of 46.  Partly cloudy Monday with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 72 and a low of 46.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a west breeze, a high of 73 and a low of 53.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 53.  40% chance of showers next Thursday with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 72 and a low of 54.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a stiff SW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 54.  Showers likely next weekend (if we are fortunate),highs about 71 and lows about 51, mostly brisk westerly breezes.   Lots of showers forecast for the week of the 15th, hopefully they won't dry up.  Temperatures are forecast to be in the seventies, high seventies by the end of the week, lows in the mid to upper fifties.
Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  He spent some time in his greenhouse chair.  A ride to Corinth for prescriptions ended his day.
We got 2 one hundredths inch of rain so watering continued to be part of our day.  Erin gave me two nice soaker hoses so the blueberries got watered.  I won't leave the soaker hose on them.  It will be the hose I move around.  The rhubarb gets a drink next.  I did get a 75 foot soaker hose at Crescent last night for Tamarra to plant with her last row of cut flowers today.  I did some planting and weeding.
Sally Jo has been weeding some of the small flower beds between customers.  Taming little wild spots makes the whole place look nicer.  And  watering perked up the perennials.  Last night Darel and I had to leave before closing time to get to Crescent before they closed.  Sally Jo and Jordn rescued the peonies from the Bishop's weed while they waited to close for me.
Looking forward to a good day, hoping yours is good too.  Sally
