Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  He went out to the greenhouse a few times but things have slowed down and he was bored so came back to the TV.  He walked out to the greenhouse one of the times but was glad for a ride back to the house.
We were busy planting.  the early cucumbers are planted.  We got the hoops over them but the breeze was too strong to get the remay on the hoops.  First thing this morning before the breeze kicks in we will cover them.  The few outside tomatoes I plant are planted and a row of green beans.  All are planted with a soaker hose and soaked.  Lots of tomatoes are in the hoop house, some plants have tomatoes on them.  They are for the stand.  The tomatoes I planted yesterday are for my sauce, the beans are for me to can.
Today the zucchini and summer squash get planted with remay over them.  They are ready to harvest faster with the remay over them.  It also protects them from the cucumber beetles.  By the time we take the remay off the plants are large enough so the beetles don't bother them.
The female oriole was eating suet for breakfast again this morning.  I didn't realize they would like the suet so much.  An indigo bunting was on it the other day.  After eating suet  the oriole went for the orange I had put out for her.
Looking forward to a good day, hope yours is good too.  Sally
