8/1/19
Don't live for the approval of others.  Galatians 1:10

.86 inches of rain last evening.  It is now partly cloudy, a gentle variable breeze, and 65 degrees.  Partly cloudy today with a NW breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 59.  Mostly sunny tomorrow and Saturday with highs about 85 and lows about 59.  A gentle west breeze tomorrow, a brisk SW breeze Saturday.  Sunny but cooler Sunday and Monday with NW breezes,  highs of 80, and lows of 54.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 84 and a low of 63.  Scattered thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday with SW breezes, highs about 80 and lows about 60.  Maybe a shower next Friday morning with a west breeze, a high of 80 and a low of 60.  Pleasant next weekend with WNW breezes, highs about 79 and lows about 58.  Possible AM showers the 12th and 13th with highs in the seventies and lows in the fifties.
Darel had a quiet day yesterday.  We got in a ride to the Creamery before the thunderstorms rolled in.
As usual i started my work day changing the ice in the coolers.  Put out two more coolers, one for blue berries, one for cabbage.  the updated forecast said the day would be sunny, pushing the thunderstorms to evening so I had to water plants that couldn't wait.  Managed to pick squash and cucumbers between customers.  I picked blueberries in the afternoon, finishing just as we got our first downpour.  Had some customers after that shower.  After the hot days we've had they are looking forward to working in their gardens today.
A couple of doves found the feeders yesterday.  One blackbird.  There is a pile of seeds on the tray where he was, probably some on the ground too!  Nut hatches are at them this morning.  No frogs in my little kitchen pond and only a few in the garden pond.  Was this cold spring hard on them?
Looking forward to getting lots of check offs on the to do list today.   Maybe a few more customers with the cooler temperatures.  Working at ignoring that today is August 1st.  Summer is going by too fast!  Enjoy your day, Sally
