Each day is a fresh start, a new beginning,  Let it be the start of a better life.

Scattered Thunderstorms Friday with stiff south breezes, a high of 80 and a low of 63.  Pm showers Saturday with a west breeze, a high of 83 and a low 0f 63.  Pleasant next Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with WNW breezes, highs about 84 and lows about 64.  Five days of possible showers starting on the 17th with highs in the eighties.
Darel came out in the kitchen yesterday thinking he would go to the greenhouse.  After looking out the window and looking at the thermometer he decide the air conditioned front room was the place for him.  He was very ready to get in the air-conditioned truck and go to the Creamery after supper.  Where we found out we were the recipients of their #1000 gift card!
Yesterday afternoon's thunderstorms pretty much went around us but we did get .58 inches of rain in a short time.  After i had done a watering because the lovely breeze was causing plants to start wilting from the heat. I was pleasantly surprised to have several customers.  And i did get the "Kiss me over the garden gate" transplanted.  I soaked it when I transplanted it and then the rain, it should be ok.
There are a lot of hummingbirds feeding in my sales area.  Helping me sell!  Some shade,  moisture and we have lots of their preferred flowers.  I'm only filling my bird feeders every third day or so instead of every day.  The birds do like our little ponds.  There is a section of perennial sales bench that we can't weed or sell perennials from and have to be very careful watering because a meadow sparrow has her nest there.  There is no counting how many phones have pictures of her little nest!
I'm glad not to have to water before or after church.  Not sure what I'll do this afternoon, many choices on the to do list!  Give thanks and enjoy your day, Sally
