Darel had a pleasant day yesterday.  Even though it was hot he spent some tome in his greenhouse chair watching the haying.  Going to the Creamery last night was more interesting than watching them mow hay.
I had a good doctor's appointment.  I was in the best shape I've been in since last summer.  Garden work agrees with me!  So I came home and did some more.  Bishop's weed moved in around the garden pond the summer Darel came home from the hospital.  I didn't eradicate it right then, I'm trying to get rid of it now.  I thought it had choked out the phlox but yesterday I found the phlox growing fine.  It just needed the weed  whacked down so it could grow.  Most of the day we all worked in the perennials, weeding the perennial pots and the walkways.  With Sally Jo haying Dakota, JR"S daughter is helping in the nursery.  She and Tammera took turns watering.
Some grass and burdock had grown up around the bee hives.  i went out early this morning and cleaned around them.  Bishop's weed, burdock, nettles, sweet Annie, we fight 'em all!
JR's weed whacking.  Doug and some of the hay crew are loading hay for a delivery.  The TV just came on so Darel is ready for breakfast.  Time to start my day.  I'm expecting a good one and hope you are too.   Sally
