Don't let a wishbone grow where a backbone should be.

 0.01 inch of showers.  Calm. cloudy and 64 degrees.  There have been and will be a few breaks of sun which will help fuel the scattered thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon.  Showers likely late this morning..  A light WSW breeze today with a high of 73 and a low tonight of 60.  40% chance of a thundershower tomorrow with a NNE breeze, a high of 69 and a low of 555.  Partly cloudy Monday with a NNE breeze, a high of 79 and a low of 59.  Scattered thunderstorms Tuesday with a NW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 57.  Mostly sunny Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 81 and a low of 58.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a SW  breeze, a high of 85 and a low of 63.  Partly cloudy Friday with a 40% chance of afternoon showers or thundershowers. Scattered thunderstorms next Saturday with a west breeze, a high of 83 and a low of 61.  40% chance of PM thunderstorms next Sunday with a NW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 57.  Pleasant the first half of the week of the 8th, showers the end of the week.  Highs about 79, lows about 59.

      Darel had a good day yesterday, lots of visiting at the greenhouse, supper and a ride to the Creamery last night.

     I picked strawberries yesterday so i was up late taking care of them.  Getting by on a few hours less sleep is one of my "unseats"  I slept in this morning to make up for a late night.  I did some weeding and planted a few more jackets o lantern pumpkins seedlings i found.  Lil Mike moved the tomatoes in the hoop house around so they can be tired up.  Mosquitos are so bad this year Tammara set up a display of mosquito repelling/confusing plants.

      Doug has been here this morning.  Some times it is good to just sit and visit and catch up on what each of us is doing.  We see each other several times a day but we're so busy we don't always know what is going on.
