Others are happy with less than we have.

 Cloudy, a west breeze and 8 degrees.  Ten inches?? of snow and sugar snow yesterday.  Enough wind so it is hard to tell how much  "stuff" we got but not as much wind as for as long as forecast.  Cloudy today with a high of 9. a stiff NW breeze and a low of -1  Sunny tomorrow, a NW wind with a high of 17 and a low of 2.  Cloudy Wednesday with  with a brisk SSW breeze, PM snow showers, a high of 33 and a low of 29.   A half inch of rain Thursday with a  SSE breeze, a high of 42 and a low of 24.  Cloudy Friday with a NW breeze, a high of 32 and a low of 2.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a NW breeze, a high of 12 and a low of 0.  Cloudy Sunday with a SSE breeze, PM snow showers, a high of 28 and a low of 18.  1-3 inches of snow next Monday with a north breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 13.  Partly cloudy next Tuesday with a NW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 8.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday with a NW breeze, a high of 21 and a low of -1.  Partly cloudy next Thursday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 10 and a low of -4.  highs in the teen, lows in the single numbers the end of January and beginning of February with a few snow flurries.

    Darel's day went well yesterday and end well, watching the Pat's win with Gilbert.

     Every time i took hot water out to the hens I fed the birds.  There is ice around the edge of the water dish.  the birds sat on the ice and drank the water from under it.  I had to shovel out the door every time I went out but I'm very glad there wasn't big drift by the waterer.  I didn't shovel by the birds, the drift was so hard i could walk n it. think every bird in the country came here yesterday!  I had to wait until almost dark to fill the bird's water.  After the other birds went to roost the cardinals and a few chickadees came to eat in peace.  Meals and the mailing list took up the rest of my time.
