New report: pediatricians say kids need simple toys, not electronic.

Clear with a NNW breeze and 15 degrees.  Sunny today with a WNW breeze, a high of 31 and a low of 15 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a gentle SW breeze, a high of 39 and a low of 24.  Today forecasters are saying it may warm up enough before it starts raining Friday  so that we won't see icing Friday morning.  An inch or more of rain is forecast for Friday, another inch Friday night.  There will be a stiff SE breeze with a high of 51 and a low of 46.  Possible afternoon showers Saturday with a brisk SSW breeze, a high of 49 and dropping to 26 Saturday night.  Partly cloudy Sunday with strong WNW breezes, a high of 31 and a low of 19.  Partly cloudy Monday, Christmas Eve Day, with a  NW breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 18.  Partly cloudy Christmas Day with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 28 and a low of 14.    Partly cloudy next Wednesday with a  NW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 11.  Mostly sunny next Thursday with a light NW breeze, a high of 26 and a low of 18. A light wintery mix Friday the 28th with a NW breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 17.  Lots of snow showers the next few days with highs in the low twenties and lows in the single numbers.

    Darel had a busy day yesterday with the nurse visiting in the morning and the physical therapist visiting in the afternoon.  What did I do yesterday?  I was busy all day but not much to show for it.  I did almost finish my Sunday School lesson.  All the written outline is done.  i just need to cut out square shapes so the kids can decorate them as gifts, gifts of love, kindness, forgiveness, etc.  Now  need to start working on our Nativity program for Christmas Eve afternoon here.  I found one from several years ago in my Sunday School stuff.  I think I will just update it with the current kids.  Mostly great Grandkids now.

     When daylight came yesterday morning I realized we had gotten a lot more snow than i thought.   I had ordered pellets.They were coming late afternoon.  There was a stiff wind and it drifts right in front of the garage.  But lil Andrew left work early and stopped in to see if we needed some shoveling.
