If you have the power to make someone smile, Do it!

Calm, some clouds and 29 degrees.  Partly cloudy, a light NNW breeze with a high of 38, dropping to 20 tonight.  Cloudy tomorrow with a very light NW breeze, a high of 35 and a low of 24. 1-3 inches of snow Sunday morning, rain in the afternoon, showers in the evening turning to fog overnight.  There will be an east breeze, a high of 37 and a low of 33.  Partly cloudy Monday with a west breeze, a high of 44 and a low of 24.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 29 and a low of 15.  Mostly sunny Wednesday and Thursday with NW breezes, highs about 27 and lows of 16.  Mostly cloudy next Friday and Saturday with WNW breezes, highs about 25 and lows of 15.  Snow Sunday the 9th with a high of 22 and a low of 11.  Pleasant winter days to start the week of the 10th with snow the end of the week.
Darel had a very quiet day yesterday.  probably a good thing because today will be very busy.  We are going to Garland for our Christmas trees this morning.  This afternoon he has a doctor's appointment.  From the doctor's we go to church for "Hanging of the greens", a party where we decorate the church.
When we get home with the trees I'll unload them and go down to mike's for some boughs.  He has a fir tree in his yard he wants to cut down.  Knowing I always want boughs he has waited until now.  I'll us some here and put some in the sign box at church.  After I cut off the mums.  They were still pretty when we got that first snow no one expected to stick.  If I have time after I get the boughs I'll put two "junk" trees behind the bird's waterer for a wind break.
I lite the star on the barn yesterday and put the nativity under it.  I didn't get the other nativity up.  Andrew put it away last year and he needs to get it down  It's all in one heavy box, high on the garage rafters.  Tomorrow.
    Have a good day, Sally
