The home health nurse came yesterday to enroll Darel in home heath.  When she came she explained that they would help Darel regain his strength and become much more independant.  After visiting an hour an a half and taking his pulse (in the forties) she said PT and OT would evaluate him and see if they could help him.  She said she is very glad he has a doctor's appointment tomorrow and both home health and the doctor can refer him back to hospice. He is comfortable and enjoyed going to lunch at the church.
In the afternoon i made room in the garage for my tractor.  Usually the lawn mower is off and it is in the garage by the first sticking snow.  It took several teakettles of water to get the mower cleaned off.  This morning Doug will take off the mower and the tractor will be in the garage for the next snow.
I cleaned the bird feeders.  With the forecast of rain they will probably need to be cleaned again Monday.  So many birds, I don't think we've ever had so many.
I got out the other two outside nativities.  I'm hoping they get set up today.  Have a good day, Sally
