Goodby November.  Hello December.

 Calm, clouds and 31 degrees  Cloudy today with a light NW breeze, a high of 36 and a low of 26.  Rain and snow in the morning, rain in the afternoon, ending late evening with fog for the rest of the night.  there will be an east breeze with a high of 38 and a low of 33.Monday will be our last warm day with a high of 41, a WSW breeze and dropping to 24 Monday night.Partly cloudy Tuesday with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 27 and a low of 13.  Mostly sunny Wednesday with a light NW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 15.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a light NW breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 20.  Cloudy Friday with a WNW breeze, a high of 30 and a low of 18.  Sunny next Saturday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 13. Morning clouds/afternoon sun next Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 25 and a low of 11.  The next week  starts out with pleasant winter days and ends with snow showers.

     We went after Christmas trees yesterday morning and as always enjoyed visiting with the owners of Will-o-Way Tree Farm.  In the afternoon Darel had his doctor's appointment.  A new doctor to the practice , we liked him.  We didn't learn anything new.  He wants to see Darel in three months but will visit him here at home.  The doctor doesn't want him in a waiting room full of sick people.  he is also arranging for home health.  In the evening we joined our church family in decorating the church.

    One big difference between this earthquake and the one in 64, in 64 it was several days before we could get word to our families that we were ok.  The quake was hardly over when Kevin texted us, All is ok here."  It wasn't until we got home from the doctor's  we found out there was a quake.  Patti facebooked she was ok and Keith called.  Family from all over were connected all evening!

    In between I transplanted some perennials i started.  they will go under the lights until I start seeds.  Then they will move to  a chilly part of the cellar to make them rest as in winter in hopes they will bloom next summer.

   Today Andrew is coming to clean the chimney.  Why the cook range fire is out for the chimney cleaning I'll clean it.  The pellet stove will keep the house warm.
