10/25/18
I smile because I'm happy and just like Gods eyes are on the sparrow I know he watches over me!

.91 inches of rain yesterday.  The 6 inches of snow melted  in the rain gauge but while there isn't six inches left there is lots of white on the ground.  It is clear now with a NW breeze and 31 degrees.  The breeze will become a wind today with a high of 43 and a low of 27 tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 25.  Rain Saturday afternoon and Saturday night with NE winds.  A strong enough storm to be classed as out first Nor'easter of the season.  Saturday's high will be 38, the low 34.  Showers Sunday, a strong ENE breeze, a high of 50 and a low of 40.  Showers Monday afternoon with a SW breeze, a high of 52 and a low of 37.  Morning/clouds/afternoon sun next Tuesday with a NNW breeze, a high of 50 and a low of 37.  Mostly sunny Wednesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 47 and a low of 32.  Showers are forecast for the next eight days with highs of fifties from next Thursday through Sunday, the 4th.  Highs about 47 the next four days.  Lows for the period , in the 30's.
Darel had a good day yesterday.  His pulse was a little low so he got chilly easy but lots was going on.  The CNA was here at 6:45. the nurse visited about ten.  Than we went over to the church for lunch.I added a comment to yesterday's update about our pellet stove.  Someone was here all afternoon working on it, even Raymond Freeman was here for awhile giving suggestions.  The chaplain visited, she and Darel did find a lull to do Bible study.
Fixed the stove without costing money but it was an all day job. Andrew worked on it in the afternoon, not a waste of time because it was maintenance that need done. But right after Andrew left it went out. Talked to a different tech at five, Doug had just come in, I handled him the phone and it was fixed in ten minutes. The afternoon tech was a new person going by a check list and missed the first thing on the check list. I think the Lord meant for him to because the other maintenance needed done. I'm just a few days past warranty so they aren't charging me for the part. A big thank-you to the technicians at the New Englander pellet stove factory. The wait to talk to one is long because they spend as much time as necessary with each customer. The Lord's way wasn't mysterious today! Darel is warm and with the maintenance the stove will probably work well all winter.
Today I'll take care of the tomatoes in the garage, it might freeze in there tonight. And I'll get more marked off my list for outside. Enjoy your day, Sally
