Snowing, NW breeze, 32 degrees. Snow changing to light rain about noon, stopping about 5 this evening. A north wind today with a high of 39, tonight's low 30. Sunny tomorrow with a NW wind, a high of 42 and a low of 26. Sunny Friday with a WNW wind, a high of 41 and a low of 23. Rain/snow Saturday afternoon with a brisk NE breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 36. Light rain Sunday with a strong NE breeze, a high of 43 and a low of 36. Afternoon showers Monday with a WSW breeze, a high of 49 and a low of 38. Showers Tuesday with a north breeze, a high of 47 and a low of 34.Possible showers next Wednesday morning with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 44 and a low of 30. Partly cloudy next Thursday and Friday with NW breezes, highs in the mid forties, lows in the low thirties. Five days of showers forecast starting November 3rd. with highs in the forties and lows in the mid thirties.
Darel had a good day yesterday. He had said no pellet stove until November, he had me start it yesterday. Last night we went to Bangor. When we got home Gilbert drove in the driveway behind us. So nice to have him carry all the groceries in! Than he filled the woodbox which is what he came for. Than he carried a bag of pellets in and filled the pellet stove. The auger stopped running and the stove went out. The bag of pellets had sat in the garage all summer. At least it happened now when it is warm enough to keep the house warm with the cook range. Any suggestions? i plan to call technical support at eight.
I worked cleaning the Quonset hut yesterday which filled the dumpster. they will empty it this morning and I will probably fill it again. Years of odds and ends! Some good, some junk. I need room to organize my greenhouse stuff so it isn't such a mess. On a more pleasant note I planted crocus bulbs. Spring will come. I will plant cosmos around the crocus foliage next spring to hide it why the leaves are storing food in the bulbs for the next spring.
Today i will take care of the rest of the tomatoes. Lunch at church this noon. A soccer play off game is scheduled for Rachael this afternoon. We'll probably go if it isn't canceled. Have a good day, Sally
