Darel had a good day yesterday.  It is time for the nurse to  recertify him for for Hospice.  She said he had declined enough since the last evaluation that she didn't think there was any question.    None of my suggestions for supper sounded good.  He wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  I thought he was kidding.  He was't, but then he wanted to go to the Creamery.  So many things don't taste good to him, things he used to like.  And we I fix something he likes he often doesn't eat much of it.  He is enjoying tomatoes.
Tamarra spotted one of those metal things from the bottom of a table leg in the tractor tire yesterday.  So glad she saw it, I didn't move the tractor and Erin was able to remove it last night, put in a plug and add some air.  So it is ready to go today.
Watered, weeded, dug potatoes picked cucumbers and summer squash, and planted some perranials yesterday.  With the heat everything needed water.  Thundershowers tonight would give us a break.  I need to pick blue berries again today.  It seems like just a few weeks ago the perennials were all weeded.  Now the fall perennial pots are full of weeds again.  i may have a problem deciding what to do next but there is always something to do!
Enjoy your day, i will enjoy mine!  Sally
