Darel's pulse were back to normal yesterday.  He was glad to nap why we were getting ready for the storm.  Doug and Nicole came over in the evening with spaghetti.
Andrew and Gayle left for their winter job on the outer banks in plenty of time to get there before the storm.  Thanks to a break down they got there 4;30 this morning.  We kept track of them via cell phone, if they didn't keep in touch I'd call them.  It doesn't matter how old your kids get!    I'm sure they are asleep and a nap may be part of my day.
Doug and Jr spent the day moving snow away from the greenhouses, big and little.  Starting the fires in the big greenhouse worked great.   They warmed up the plastic so the ice could slide off as the snow and ice was moved away from the bottom.  It took extra hours because they moved the snow away so there will be room to get rid of today's snow.  The greenhouse fan and light bulbs on pipes are on extension cords plugged into a hydro outlet by the generator.  If the power goes off I can just unplug them from the wall and into the generator.  Even if we don't use power it is good that I did it.  Now the cords will be all sorted out so I can quickly get them out if we lose power unexpectedly.  Snow is all cleaned out around doors so they will shut tight and can get drifted in.
We had lots of birds yesterday, more than anytime this winter.
I'm planning on a good day regardless of the weather, do enjoy yours, Sally
