Winds will only die down a little Saturday night.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 3 and a low of -3.  6-10 inches of snow Monday and Monday night with SW breezes, a high of 20 and a low of 17.  Freezing rain Tuesday into Tuesday night with Sw breezes, a high of 29 and a low of 9.  morning clouds/ afternoon sun next Wednesday with strong WNW breezes, a high of 13 and a low of -7.  Sunny next Thursday with WNW breezes, a high of 10 and a low of -2.The forecast shows 4 days of snow showers starting Friday the 12.
Darel's pulse were high on both sides yesterday am.  When the nurse came they were low.  He was comfortable but fluctuations like that leave him stressed.  The registration on our truck ran out 12/31.  We had to go to the town hall and register it.  I can remember being a couple months beyond the expiration date and he wasn't bothered.  Fortunately we could go register it.
I started the fires in the greenhouse this morning hoping their heat will help the ice slide off.  The tractor is plugged in so it will start.  Some of the snow around the greenhouse can be moved with the tractor.  I am very thankful for this warm day.  I think I will run the cords from the generator to the greenhouse and to the light bulbs on pipes in the barns.  I'll plug them into the wall.  If the power goes out all I have to do is plug them into the generator.
i need to go back out to the greenhouse and put more wood on the stoves.  Have a good day, Sally
